Our Process

We start by gathering discarded glass bottles from various beaches. Many of these bottles are broken, posing a hazard to beachgoers and wildlife. In addition to being a physical danger, these bottles contribute to pollution and can harm the coastal ecosystem. By removing them, we help make the beaches safer and cleaner for everyone.

2. Bottle Cleaning

The collected bottles undergo a meticulous cleaning process to remove sand, algae, and other unwanted debris. At Luxera, we prioritize thorough cleaning to ensure that each piece of glass meets our high standards, guaranteeing a pristine, high-quality product.

3. Glass Crushing

After cleaning, the bottles are carefully crushed into fine pieces. This step allows us to preserve the natural beauty and vibrant colors of the glass, making it perfect for creating stunning jewelry that is suitable for daily wear. We prioritize health and safety throughout this process, ensuring our team uses proper safety equipment and minimizes waste to uphold our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Simply fill out the contact form below to get started, and we will reach out to you via email. Your contribution will directly support our mission to reduce waste and create sustainable jewelry. We encourage you to collect bottles from your local beach or community area, either on your own or with a small group. Record a video showing the bottles being collected, and send us only the bottles you gather during the cleanup. We are only collecting colored glass bottles at this time. Any collection released from donated glass bottles will include the name of the person who made the donation, recognizing your valuable contribution.
